Hi Everyone,
This is Jennifer, Chris's sister. I just want you all to know how much we appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Your comments on this blog have meant alot to our family and to Chris (we are printing them off and reading them to him). Over these past couple days, I have just been amazed at the outpouring of support we have recieved for Chris and our family. Chris is a fighter and is now entering the battle of his life, for his life. He will need your prayers and support more than ever. Chris has always been a person full of surprises, saying and doing things so randomly that you never knew what to expect. I'm praying that he'll once again do the unexpected and beat the odds that are stacked so high against him right now.
Thanks again.....for everything.

I won't be able to make it up tonight but Nick plans to. As I will be out of town for the weekend with Mason know our thoughts will remain with you all, especially you Chris. Funny how just saying your name makes me smile and lights up my heart. Know Nick and I are here if there is anything any of you need never hesitate to call. Chris, I love you bud and hope to plan some American Idol watching in the near future. My prayers are continual, Love, Casey Roets
Andy and I plan on coming to see you tonight. We hope you are doing well, today! Our thoughts are always with you. We have been enjoying reminiscing with all the funny stories of you!
See you later!
Love,
Rohrbs and Melissa
Hi Chris & Family,
I got an e-mail from Jessica this morning and was sorry to see the reason for the blog link. Please know that Amanda and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
For what it's worth, I am currently working for the American Cancer Society in Green Bay. If the hospital staff hasn't already, I wanted to let you know about our 800 number (1-800-227-2345) and website (www.cancer.org). They are both wonderful resources.
ACS can provide you with information, which is very important at this time. This can help you better understand the type of cancer Chris has, treatment options, questions to ask his doctors, clinical trials that may be available, etc. We can also provide information onfinancial and insurance questions and other day to day help. Finally, we can help find local support groups and there's also an online support group for cancer patients and their families.
I'm sorry if that sounded like an infomercial, but they really are a great resource. I don't work specifically with patients, but if you have questions feel free to e-mail adam.sutter@cancer.org or call me at 877-423-9124 x 360.
I work with lots of volunteers and meet many survivors who tell me about how they weren't supposed to make it more than a few months. Hope is a wonderful thing!

Chris and Family,
We're J.D. Raimer's parents and JD told us what was going on with you.
We just want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
You're a strong young man and you have a great support group with your family and friends.
Stay strong and know that lots of people are pulling for you.
Wishing you the best,
Doug & Sally Raimer
Chris,
Along with your tender heart and awesome sense of humor, your best attribute is your tenaciousness. Whether you are playing tennis or playing in the Turkey bowl (after Thanksgiving), you continue to fight and never give up! This situation is no different. You WILL be better. We continue to think about and pray for you and your family.
Nate, Pam and Elsa Roets
