My dad spent the night with Chris so my mom could come home and get some much needed sleep(she had been staying at the hospital since Monday night and stayed up all night every night watching Chris). She is not feeling well so she is staying home today so she wont get Chris sick and also so she can recover and be ready for Chris to be home on Saturday. I have a feeling she may sneak down there at some point for an hour or two just to "see" Chris.
My dad phoned in and told all of us that Chris is doing much better today. He can find the words he is looking for faster and he's more alert. He still has problems with his speech, but it's improving! He also said Chris is still really tired but Chris slept good last night and is doing good!
We have family coming from Michigan throughout the day today so pray for safe travels.

I am so happy to hear that Chris is improving. Jeff and I have called on our friends and family to pray for you and your enitre family. I am also excited to hear that Chris should be able to go home tomorrow! That is amazing. I am really looking forward to seeing you soon Chris! Please know that we would be honored to help in any way that we can.

Jenn - Just wanted to know I'm always thinking of you and your family. Wonderful news that your brother did so well with the surgery. My thoughts are with you. Susan T. from Alllaw
It's so great to hear that Chris is doing better. Mark and I are planning to come down tonight to visit so if there is anything that any of you need (like non hospital food!) just let us know!

Hey Caswells!! Glad to hear things are improving. It is a hard thing to get used to. I am praying like crazy for you. Also just wanted to let you know that it seems odd but I was counting the people that I know who have had brain surgery...Suprisingly I know at least 3 that are alive and doing well. I am going to be adding Chris to this list. :) YEAH ONE DAY TILL YOU GO HOME!!! At least you stayed warm and didn't have to bear the -45!
