Chris is Doing Well

It was so hard to leave the hospital today because I just wanted to sit and visit with my brother! He is doing really well with his recovery and we praise God for that! Thank you for your prayers, God is listening!

Today he had physical therapy. He had to catch a ball multiple times (and he never missed), he had to walk the halls, go up and down stairs, and stand on one foot (his therapist was really impressed he could do that!). His speech was also better today. Not perfect yet, but better and we all enjoyed visiting with him. I wish I was still there talking to him. But the plan is still to have him home at some point tomorrow which will make it easier to visit.

Chris is really amazing. His outlook on this whole thing as well as his recovery has never waivered. I love my brother and can't wait to see him "beat this thing".

I am just in awe of how quickly he has recovered from his surgery. Jack's mom had a tumor on her brain also - and still hardly has mobility on her right side.
I am so happy that he gets to go home so quickly and he's not in the hospital for the "months" that the doctors originally thought.

Chris - know that we are all praying for you! You are such a strong, amazing young man... if anyone can "beat this thing" you're the guy for the job!! So - best wishes and lots of prayer for you as you take on this new chapter of your life.

To the whole Caswell family -
I just want you all to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers daily. If there is anything at all that me or my family can do for you guys, please let me know.

Love,
Jessica VanBeckum (Paul)

Wayne and Mary Caswell are my Uncle and Aunt. (Mary is my mom, Ginnie's sister). Mary sent Mom your blog and then on to me, so that I could read it. I would be honored to pray for chris and follow your posts. You might like to check out my blog sometime if you get a chance. Please let Chris know that people are praying for him that he hasn't ever met. Blessings for a LONG healthy life for him. God is good at the miracle business. {{HUGS}}

Have you ever wake up with a song in your head? This morning I woke up with My Savior My God. I walked downstaris to get breakfast just before sitting down I turned on the radio and there it was My Saviot My God had just started to play. We serve an awesome God!
I want to share the words with you.

I am not skilled to understand What God has willed, what God has planned
I only know at His right hand
Stands one who is my Savior

I take Him at His word and deed
Christ died to save me; this I read
And in my heart I find a need
Of Him to be my Savior

That He would leave His peace on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my Savior

Chorus:
My Savior loves, My Savior lives
My Savior's always there for me
My God:He was,my God: He is
My God is always gonna be

Yes, living, dying, let me bring
My strength, my solace from this spring;
That He who lives to be King
Once died to be my Savior

That He would leave His place on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my Savior.

Can you say an AMEN!

When difficulties come our way always remember that we are not skilled to understand, we only know that Our Savior loves, lives and He's always there for you.

With Much prayer to all of you,
Donna S.
