Chris is REALLY TIRED so they are requesting that no groups of people come to see him today and would prefer no steady flow of people either. Please pray that his speech impairment is due to swelling from surgery and not damage to the brain.
Also, we have been reading Chris any posted comments. So thanks for the thoughts and prayers!
And... Chris got moved to the hospital. So for those of you that saw him here before he is in a new room now. You can stop at information to get diections or e-mail me.

Everyone is thinking of you dude and we are going to come visit you when you are feeling more up to it. We'll have to listen to some old Barefoot Soldiers tunes. I'll try to bring some by.
Hi Chris,
Our paths have not crossed for a few years, but maybe you remember us from church youth activities. On Tuesday we were made aware of you being in the hospital and your scheduled surgery. We have been praying for you and your family. I seldom have headaches, but Tuesday afternoon I had a slight headache. Later Tuesday night I woke up at 3:30 a.m. with a significant headache. I took it as a reminder to pray for you again. When I got up in the morning the headache was gone. It would be great if your "headache" could go away that easily. God is an all mighty, all powerful God. We will continue to pray for your healing and for God's presence to give you strength and encouragement.
Isaiah 26:3-4
Wishing you the best Chris. If I can do anything for you let me know and i'll be there in a second. Not literally a second... figuratively a second. It'd be more realistic to expect me in minutes or around a half hour, but i'll be there as quickly as i can. I look forward to seeing you again. My thoughts are with you, buddy.
Hey Chris I dont know if you remember me! I am Skye's youngest sister Alana. I wish I could be there even to just help my mom make food for your friends and Family that are coming in from out of town. but I am in VA so instead I am sending you my prayers and thoughts. You are a great person and your family is a wonderful group of people. Get better and we will see you soon! Praying for you!
Caswell Family,
Three days ago I found the link to this blog on Jessica Paul's Facebook status. I could not believe my eyes. I immediately spread the link to everyone I know and everyone who knows Chris. I am so thankful for your posts since I am so far away. Please keep us updated.
Chris,
I am so happy you are awake and can hear these comments. I'm not sure you are aware of this but you have truly had such an impact in my life. The hijinks during tennis, musicals and plays are some of the most memorable times I've ever had. You are no doubt one of the funniest guys I have ever met. Stay strong. I know all of us are thinking of you constantly. Love ya brother.
p.s. - Please give Chris a huge hug for me. I'll be there in February to give him one myself!
Hey Chris,
Mike just went over to let Chewie out and Chewie looked sad when he realized it wasn't you. Well, that's just Chewbaca for you. It's so darn cold, Mike said Chewie pissed in his own yard instead of on our barbeque cover. He was very brave to bear the cold long enough to play with Lola for 15 whole minutes. When Mike left, he was sitting happily on the couch watching TV, but keeping an eye out for anyone coming in the back door. Just thought you'd want to know. You're in our prayers, buddy.

This message is for Jeanne and her family, and of course, for Chris:
I'm Dawn Foster, Morgan Foster's mom (Chris, Heather & Morgan were in the same grade in school), and Jeanne works w/me at the library. We had limited information on what was happening with Chris but fortunately Morgan had been sent this blog site & in turn she sent it to me.
I remember Chris from high school & how he was always referred to as a fun-loving kid. I've been praying very hard and trying to fight the tears as I think of how young Chris is to be going through such hardships.
Jeanne, it goes without saying that all of us here at the library are worried about you and praying for you, for Chris, & for your entire family. Know that we all love you and hope you will let us help in any way.
On a personal note, I know God will protect you & keep you strong. It's never easy to understand why these types of things happen in our lives ... tragedies, sadness, the feeling of helplessness. But God only gives to us what He knows we can handle, and although it may not be clear today, tomorrow or even next year, He will reveal to us what His plan is. There will be a reason for this pain and suffering.
hi. i am a friend of jen's from IV at uw-o. know that i am praying for everyone involved. the unknown is scary...but god isn't.
Hey Chris it's Steve Kayartz. I just want you to know that my prayers and thoughts are with at all times. And I want to leave you with this:
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us"
Of all the people I know, this is a challenge that I know and see you sucessfully overcoming. I love ya buddy!!
Hi Jeanne, John, Chris, Jenny, Holli, & Heather:
We are praying for all of you and have you on the church prayer chain. We are still in shock, as we can well imagine you are too. God is good and has a plan, even when it is hard for us to go through these things, He gives us His presence and peace. We are praying for that for you. We love your family!!! Allyson & Neal
Hey Chris and family, i just heard about what's going on. i am sorry you are going through this. shane and i are getting our church (living water in sun prairie) to pray for you. that's a lot of prayers for health and strength being sent your way!
Hey Chris,
We are constantly thinking of you and wishing the best for you. Stay strong. We can't wait to see you. Hopefully on Saturday. Love ya buddy.
